1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and our SMS messaging program. By using this site, submitting a form, or opting in to receive text messages from BCR Basements Inc., you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or opt in to messages.

BCR Basements Inc. is a residential renovation contractor operating in Durham Region and the Greater Toronto Area.

2. Age restriction (18+)

You must be 18+ to use this website or our SMS program.

This website, our forms, and our SMS messaging program are intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By submitting a form or opting in to receive text messages from BCR Basements Inc., you confirm that you are at least eighteen (18) years old.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If we learn that we have collected such information from a person under 18, we will delete it. If you are under 18, do not submit any information through this site and do not opt in to text messages.

3. Our SMS program

Our SMS program sends text messages related to your inquiry and your project. Messages include appointment confirmations and reminders, updates on the status of work at your property, replies to questions you send us, receipts and invoice notifications, and occasional promotional offers.

Message frequency varies depending on your interaction with our services. During an active renovation you may receive several messages in a week. Outside of an active project you may receive none for months.

4. How you opt in

You join the SMS program by entering your mobile number on a form on this website and checking the SMS consent box, or by texting us first at (647) 800-1302 .

Checking the consent box is optional. It is not a condition of any purchase, and it is not required to request information, receive a proposal, or book an appointment with us. If you would rather not receive text messages, leave the box unchecked and we will contact you by phone or email instead.

5. How to opt out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP to any message you receive from us. We will send one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and after that you will receive no further text messages from us.

To rejoin, reply START to that number or opt in again through a form on this website.

6. Help and support

If you have any trouble with the messaging program, reply HELP to any message, or text HELP to (647) 800-1302 .

7. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply to messages we send you and messages you send us. Those charges come from your wireless provider, not from us. For questions about your text or data plan, contact your wireless carrier.

8. Carrier liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of text messages depends on your carrier’s network and on your device, and we cannot guarantee that every message will arrive or arrive on time. Do not rely on text messaging for anything urgent. If something on your project needs immediate attention, call us at (647) 800-1302 .

9. Supported carriers

Our messaging program works with major Canadian and United States wireless carriers. Carrier support can change without notice, and we are not responsible for messages that fail to deliver because of a carrier’s decision or network conditions.

10. Use of this website

You may use this website to learn about our services and to contact us about work at your property. You agree not to submit false or misleading information, not to enter a phone number that is not yours or that you are not authorized to provide, and not to use the site to interfere with its operation or with other users.

Entering someone else’s mobile number for SMS consent is a violation of these Terms and of Canadian anti-spam law. If you do it, we may refuse to work with you.

11. Information on this website

The information on this site about renovation work, timelines, and cost ranges is general information about the market we work in. It is not a quote, an estimate, or a commitment to a price or a schedule for your property. Every basement is different. Costs and timelines for your project depend on the condition of the structure, the layout, the mechanical and electrical systems, what the building department and the Ontario Building Code require, and what you decide to build.

Any pricing or schedule that binds us appears only in a written proposal or contract signed by both of us.

12. Contracts and project terms

These Terms cover your use of this website and our messaging program. They do not cover the work itself. The terms of any renovation project, including scope, price, payment schedule, change orders, timelines, and warranty, are set out in a separate written contract signed by both parties. Where these Terms and a signed contract disagree about the work, the signed contract governs.

13. Intellectual property

The text, photographs, videos, and design on this website belong to BCR Basements Inc. Project photographs are of real work we have completed. You may not copy, republish, or use them to market your own business.

14. Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the effective date at the top tells you when they were last updated. Continuing to use the site or the SMS program after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Ontario.
